URGENT: Member ID Card Misprint, Corrective Efforts Underway

California Health & Wellness member ID cards mailed in January contain incorrect information. All the cards incorrectly include the text “GROUP: CCIPA,” which should only appear on cards for CCIPA members:



We are currently reprinting the member ID cards and will be mailing replacements to affected members. The new cards should begin arriving in the second week of March.

In the meantime, all other information on the member’s ID cards is accurate.   If a member doesn’t have an ID card at the time of service, PCPs should check their eligibility on the web at the sites below:

To check eligibility, you will need the following information from the member:

  • Member Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Member ID Number

Our members can print out a temporary ID card from our Member Portal (https://www.cahealthwellness.com/login.html). This temporary ID card is only valid for 24 hours.
